How do I get started with the Foundational Review?

Learn how to access and navigate the Foundational Review to build a durable foundation in radiology physics

The Foundational Review is designed to provide you with a gradual, in-depth understanding of radiology physics using engaging whiteboard-style lectures and practice MCQs. Here’s how to get started:

  1. Access the course

    • Register here if you haven't already.

    • Login here if you already have an account.

    • Click Start or Resume to access the course from your Student Dashboard.

  2. Explore the course materials

    • Lectures: 20 hours of whiteboard-style lectures to build your foundational knowledge. Start wherever you feel the greatest anxiety.

    • MCQs: Practice with 200 exam-relevant multiple-choice questions to test your understanding, broken into ten sets of 20 questions.

    • Q&A Forum: Use the searchable forum to find answers to common questions.

    • Radiology Simplified: Purchase the course text directly from Apple Books. For Mac and iOS devices only. If you have institutional access, check with your program coordinator if the text was included in your access.

  3. Plan your schedule

    • Aim to start the Foundational Review at least 3 months before your board exam.
